CROCHET RED FLOWER 6 PETALS HEADBAND

Hello everyone! Today I am going to tell you how to make this cute crochet red flower 6 petals headband. This crochet red flower 6 petals headband is great and very easy to realize idea for baby girl gift. I made it with acrylic yarn but you can use different yarns like cotton or fine wool.

SO FIRSTLY, PREPARE YOUR MATERIALS:

• Small amount of beige acrylic yarn (approx. 10 g)
• Small amount of red acrylic yarn (approx. 15 – 20 g)

• Crochet Hook Nº 4mm or 5mm – as you feel the yarn

SECONDLY, TAKE A LOOK AT THE ABBREVIATIONS:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• sl st: slip stitch
• st: stitch – can mean sc or sl st
• dc: double crochet
• lp: loop /lps – loops/

• * – * Repeat the instructions between the asterisks the number of times indicated

THIRDLY, THEY ARE THE CROCHET FLOWER HEADBAND INSTRUCTIONS:

FLOWER

The crochet flower is made in two layers.

Layer One :

Rnd 1 (FRONT SIDE): Make 6 ch and join in ring.

Rnd 2: * ch 5, 1 dc in into the ring * – repeat 6 times stitches between * … *. You have 6 dc and 6 lps for this Rnd. Join with sl st.

Rnd 3:  ch 1,  * 1 sc in first lp, 3 dc in same lp * – repeat 6 times the stitches between  * … *  for each lp. Join with sl st. You have 6 petals for the first flower’s layer.

Rnd 4 (BACK SIDE): Make 1 sl st between the first and last petals of the flower. 5 ch, 1 sl st between first and second petals, 5 ch, 1 sl st between second and third petals, 5 ch, 1 sl st between 3 and 4 petals, 5 ch, 1 sl st between 4 and 5 petals, 5 ch, 1 sl st between 5 and 6 petals, 5 ch, join with sl st to first sc.

Layer Two:

Rnd 5 (FRONT SIDE): in each flower’s petal from the back side you have to work: 1 sc, 7 dc.

Join with sl st. Fasten off and secure ends.

BEIGE BAND:

Row 1 (color beige):  Make ch 5, 1 dc in first ch. Turn.

Row 2: ch 4 , 1 dc on the previous dc from the first Row. Turn.

Row 3 to Row 30: repeat Row 2. You can make the band as long as you like. Fasten off and secure ends. Fix the red flower.
